I adore Halloween! The one holiday where running around to multiple family houses isn’t required. It’s also the one holiday that really lends itself to a morbid sense of humor. So of course, I’ve already started decorating for Halloween. Make a creepy eyeball Halloween wreath quickly, easily, and cheaply with these instructions.
Prepare the form
I used a pool noodle wreath form (click here for pool noodle wreath instructions) but a purchased foam wreath would work.
Wrap the form
Wrap the wreath form in garland or ribbon. I used purple and black garland from the Dollar Tree. Note that it takes 30 to 40 feet to cover a standard pool noodle wreath form so that the form color does not show through. Attach the garland by poking the end metal into the wreath or by gluing it down.
Glue on the eyes
Now glue on the eyes at scattered points around the wreath. I used a package of eyeballs from the Dollar Tree but you can make your own creepy eyes with ping pong balls and a marker if you don’t have a local novelty store. Hot glue dries the fastest but you can use any glue you have on hand. Just remember that if you are using a slow drying glue you’ll need the wreath to lie flat while the glue is drying.
